Are qualifications that students receive after their successful graduation in the field of Medicine in Bulgaria Internationally recognized?
All Bulgarian Medical universities are internationally accredited educational institutions. The Diplomas of successfully graduated students are Internationally recognized.

Do you need a Student Visa to study Medicine in Bulgaria?
Bulgarian Student Visa: after getting acceptance letter you should apply for Bulgarian Student Visa  (D-type Visa), valid from 3 to 6 months. Bulgarian Student Visa can be obtained from any Bulgarian Diplomatic Mission abroad and it is required to all non EU/EEA students in Bulgaria.
After the arrival in Bulgaria, the applicant with Bulgarian Student  Visa must apply for a long-term stay (residency permit), valid for one year maxim and renewable every year for the whole period of the studies. Application for residency permit is  only submitted in Bulgaria after final registration at the  University.

What is the number of students in the class of Bulgarian Medical universities?
Every year, the medical universities in Bulgaria accept between 30 and 100 students in each specialty. But lectures and exams are take place in smaller groups of students between 5-10 students depending on the requirements of the course.
Of course, each year these figures may differ as well as each particular university to change the rules in order to reach optimal study environment.
